Before launching ReKindle Ministries as his full-time ministry in 2005, Joe spent twenty-one years in local church ministry, serving churches in Lampasas, Cedar Park and Waco, Texas. Joe has earned degrees from Howard Payne University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Dallas Theological Seminary. He is also a graduate of Florence and Marita Littauer's CLASS (Christian Leaders, Authors and Speakers Seminar). Joe and his wife, Valerie, reside in Woodway, Texas and have three children: Briana (student at Dallas Baptist University), Worth (Midway High School), and Glenna (Midway Intermediate School).
