ON-GOING--Interim Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Corsicana, TX. This vibrant, multi-generational and multi-ethnic congregation lost its pastor tragically in an automobile accident in October 2009. Joe spends each Sunday in Corsicana, preaching three times and meeting with key leaders of the congregation. He also holds weekly staff meetings via conference call. July 9-11--Coaches Outreach, Marriage Conference, Quartz Mountain Resort, Lone Wolf, OK. Joe and Valerie will spend the weekend ministering to about 100 high school coaches and their wives. What a great opportunity to invest in the lives of some of God's most important ministers, those whom He has placed very strategically in the paths of thousands of teens and young adults! July 26-August 5--Mission Aviation Fellowship Spiritual Renewal Conference, Johannesburg, South Africa. We've been invited back to minister to overseas workers who serve with MAF in several countries in Southern Africa. Our team of 11 will provide meaningful worship experiences and Bible teaching as well as Vacation Bible School for their children. Our goal is to facilitate rest, refreshment and spiritual renewal so the workers can return to their duties in the field re-charged for another year of serving Christ. This opportunity is not without great challenge and expense. Please consider joining us in prayer every day for God's protection and provision. August 6-11--Pastors' Conference, Maseru, Lesotho. An extra-special opportunity to extend our work in Southern Africa--ReKindle founder, Joe Loughlin, will travel to the tiny, mountainous south African kingdom of Lesotho to speak to indigenousl Basotho pastors. He will also share a Sunday morning message in a church in the capital city, Maseru. Calendar is available for ReKindle events.
